Original Airdate: July 26, 1994
Your Host is Joey Styles
Paul E. Dangerously is backstage, fuming that Mr. Hughes attacked him, but taking solace in the fact that he has 911 watching his back
Tazmaniac v Hack Meyers: From Philadelphia Pennsylvania on July 15. Hack attacks as Tazmaniac climbs into the ring, but Tazmaniac quickly fights him off, and they spill to the outside. Tazmaniac dumps him into the crowd for a brawl, as Joey boasts about how many concussions guys have gotten in ECW. Fifteen tonight alone! I don’t think that’s quite the flex he seems to think it is. Inside, Tazmaniac pastes him with a headbutt, and uses a bodyslam, so Hack goes to the eyes. Hack works him over, but Tazmaniac shakes it off, and suplexes him at 2:31. DUD
Tommy Dreamer is going to live up to his NWA ‘Rookie of the Year’ award by getting revenge on Sandman. I’m having trouble accepting babyfaced Tommy Dreamer. Not as a babyface, but with a literal baby face
Axl Rotten and Ian Rotten v Don E. Allen and Joel Hartgood: From Philadelphia Pennsylvania on July 15. The Rotten’s throw them around like some bootleg Steiner Brothers, before finishing Hartgood with a combo at 5:08. You know the rule about squash lengths. DUD
We take a look at footage from the Heatwave Tour, and I’m intrigued by this ring mat with the Studio 54 logo on it
ECW Tag Team Champions Public Enemy are sitting out on the street, shouting like a couple of homeless addicts. Curtain matches the drapes
Six-Man Tag Team Match: Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer, and Dory Funk Jr v Jimmy Snuka, Pitbull #1, and Pitbull #2: Also from Philly on July 15. Joined in progress, with the heels working over Dreamer. Tommy manages to catch Pitbull 2 with a bodypress for two, and here come the Funks to turn it into a brawl. The heels try to triple team Dreamer, but it backfires, and Tommy pins Snuka at 3:52 shown. I think we can safely rate this. Afterwards, Hunter Q. Robbins III gets in Snuka’s face over the loss, but makes the mistake of putting hands on him, and gets murdered. Yeah, well, that happens. That draws the Pitbulls over to beat up Snuka, so Tazmaniac runs out to back Jimmy up. DUD
ECW Champion Shane Douglas doesn’t think much of 911, especially since he’s a woman beater. I’m not seeing how Shane is the heel in this
BUExperience: Yawn.
