WCW Home Video Collection: Greatest Grudges (1992)

Home video compilation. The front cover of the tape features Sting trying to put Lex Luger in the Scorpion Deathlock, while the back cover features Sting actually applying the Scorpion to another wrestler. Hey, spoilers!

Jesse Ventura hosts from the control center. I never liked Jesse’s look once he dropped the bandana. It just didn’t work

We start with clips of the Steiner Brothers versus the Nasty Boys from Halloween Havoc 1990

Next up, we go to 1988, with the Road Warriors attacking Dusty Rhodes on World Championship Wrestling, and trying to blind Dusty with one of their spikes. Kind of weird that they chose to highlight this, considering the fallout led to Dusty’s release

Clips of the Road Warriors versus Dusty Rhodes and Sting from Starrcade 1988

Next up, clips of Tully Blanchard versus Magnum TA in the I Quit Cage match from Starrcade ‘85

Another Starrcade, with clips of Roddy Piper against Greg Valentine in the Dog Collar match from Starrcade ‘83

Next up, something with a little less gore, with clips of Sting winning the NWA World title from Ric Flair at Great American Bash ‘90

Clips of the Bunkhouse Stampede match from the Bunkhouse Stampede pay per view in 1988

BUExperience: This was a thirty minute tape, and all clips. Some interesting choices too, with nothing more recent than October 1990, which feels like both a bug and a feature.

Not a good addition to your home video collection.
