The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers v Harley Race and Iron Mike Sharpe: From New York City on February 22. Sharpe is a substitute for Hercules, but still, poor Harley! Jacques Rougeau starts with Harley, and outmoves him. Tag to Raymond Rougeau to hold a keylock, then an armbar when Race tries to bodyslam out of the first hold. Race slugs free ahead of a tag, but Mike walks right into a drop-toehold. The Brothers work Sharpe over, but Race manages to tag in, and he puts the hurt on Jacques. Race with a piledriver to set up a kneedrop for two, and he passes back to Sharpe, as the heels cut the ring in half. Sharpe ends up missing an elbowdrop to allow the tag to Ray, and he runs wild! He hooks Mike in a sleeper, so Race comes in, and Roseanne Barr the door! The heels get reversed into one another, and the Brothers hit Mike with a combo at 9:29. This was solid enough. ¾*

Sam Houston v Danny Davis: From New York on January 25. Davis stalls, until Sam is able to bring him in the hard way, and Houston holds an armbar. Davis escapes, and gets a headlock on, but Sam uses an atomic drop to break, and it’s back to the armbar. Sam tries a bodypress, but Davis dodges, and Houston wipes out to turn the tide. Davis goes to work, and a suplex gets him two. Davis uses a clothesline for two, but wastes time arguing with the referee, and Sam cradles at 8:29. ½*

The Young Stallions v Barry Horowitz and Steve Lombardi: From Wichita on February 16. Top shelf jobbers here. And Barry and Steve, too. Jim Powers pins Horowitz at 8:54. Insanely long for a squash match. ¼*

The Islanders v The Killer Bees: From New York on December 26 1987. The Bees dominate early on, but B. Brian Blair gets into trouble, and the Islanders cut the ring in half on him. Jim Brunzell gets the tag, and runs wild, but some heel double teaming slows him down. He still manages to get Haku in a sleeper, so Tama comes in, but Blair cuts him off, and Roseanne Barr the door! In the chaos, the Islanders manage to maim Brunzell, and Haku pins him at 11:11. ½*

BUExperience: I still don’t get why people romanticize Prime Time so much. Gosh.
