NWA (ECW) Eastern Championship Wrestling (November 16, 1993)

Original Airdate: November 16, 1993

Your Host is Matty in the House from the studio

Backstage, Badd Company verify that they are, indeed, bad. Badd bad

Public Enemy are hanging out, and accept Badd Company’s challenge for an empty arena match

ECW Tag Team Title Match: Tony Stetson and Johnny Hotbody v Tommy Dreamer and Johnny Gunn: From November to Remember, November 13 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Nothing match, as the challengers scoop up the belts at 0:09. DUD

Joey Styles catches up with Salvatore Bellomo, whose status has been upgraded to ‘alive’

More clips from November to Remember, which apparently all took place under a terrible red light, like a 1997 Kane match

Joey catches up with Malia Hosaka, who nearly lost an eye when Sherri Martel was swinging a chair around at November to Remember

Public Enemy are outside… auditioning for a role in Clerks… by the looks of things?

More November to Remember clips

Sandman v Jim Neidhart: Also from November to Remember. Jim powers him around to start, and he grabs a standing headlock. Sandman forces a criss cross, so Jim blasts him with a shoulderblock, and goes back to the headlock. Another criss cross ends the same way as the first, and it’s back to the headlock. Sandman tries the criss cross again, and this time uses a drop-toehold when Neidhart tries for the shoulderblock, allowing Sandman a stepover toehold until Jim makes the ropes. Anvil bails to regroup, but Sandman catches him with a shoulderblock on the way in, and covers for two. Sandman with a backelbow, and a criss cross ends in Anvil twisting his ankle. Sandman comes at him, but Neidhart dumps him to the outside, as he was faking the ankle injury. Jim forces him back inside for a ropechoke, but Sandman quickly fights him off, and makes a comeback. They collide for a double knockout, and Sandman recovers first with a suplex, but Jim counters with a gourdbuster. They collide again for another double knockout, and it ends in a weird double pin at 6:07. Well, that was one way to book a finish, I guess. Afterwards, Jason comes out to try and recruit both guys, but gets rejected. Sandman decides to physically reject him, leading to Mr. Hughes coming out to make the save. ½*

More November to Remember clips, where Terry Funk’s mystery partner was revealed to be King Kong Bundy. This show is like a feeder system for fall 1994 WWF

Joey catches up with Funk, who clarifies that he isn’t afraid of anything. Well, of course not. Can’t be afraid of the crazy snow shovel guy next door when you are the crazy snow shovel guy next door

Road Warrior Hawk and Jim Neidhart have hemoglobin! You know the presentation is truly bad when Matty even prefaces the clip by warning you of it, after not saying a word through all of the awful Kane lit November to Remember stuff. And, indeed, it’s nearly unwatchable

Paul E Dangerously is very excited about women bleeding in a wrestling ring for the first time. Pretty sure that isn’t the case. Oh, he means from a bladejob, got it

Backstage, Badd Company get attacked by Public Enemy

BUExperience: This was basically just clips from November to Remember, which looked like a pretty miserable show to watch from a presentation standpoint
