Clips of various newspaper headlines declaring Philadelphia as the most hostile city in America
A look back at some of Public Enemy’s vignettes and segments
Public Enemy welcome Terry Funk’s threat of bringing brother Dory in to help challenge for the ECW Tag Team title
Salvatore Bellomo v Mr. Hughes: From Philadelphia Pennsylvania on May 13. Hughes powers him around, so Sal tries grabbing a nervehold, but Hughes grabs a handful of hair to shake him off. Sal gets some shots in, so Jason distracts him, and Hughes delivers a scrapbuster at 3:15. Much like both of these workers, this was a big, fat, DUD
Shane Douglas claims he saw ‘thousands of people’ at When World’s Collide. Is this his way of telling us he needs glasses?
Tommy Cairo is trying to cut a backstage promo, when Sandman attacks him with his kendo stick - pissed that Tommy hasn’t paid the $100 he owes Sandman for all those nights with Peaches
Backstage, Paul E Dangerously gloats about hiring Public Enemy as his mercenaries. Yeah, not exactly the flex he thinks that is
ECW Television Title Match: Pitbull v Mikey Whipwreck: Also from Philly on May 13. The crowd chants ‘we want Taz’ to annoy Pitbull, so he takes it out on Mikey at the bell. To the outside, Pitbull keeps the beating going on the floor, and he takes Mikey back in for a legdrop, but pulls the limp Whipwreck up at two. Pitbull with a belly-to-belly suplex, and he dumps Mikey over the top for Jason to abuse. Inside, Pitbull delivers a powerbomb, but Tazmaniac is out to distract him ahead of the pin. Pitbull takes the bait, but ends up crotching himself on the top rope, and Mikey scores the pin at 5:01 in a huge upset. ¼*
Backstage, Terry Funk promises Dory’s arrival
BUExperience: A pretty uninteresting hour, but the Whipwreck title win was a fun moment - even if the match was terrible.
