The New Fantastics v Barry Horowitz and Scotty Williams: The Fantastics split screen in here, introducing themselves to the WCW audience. Jackie Fulton finishes Williams with a nice flying splash at 3:37. DUD

Sid Vicious is going to take both Sting and Lex Luger’s belts. The audio quality for this promo is terrible, with Sid echoing very loudly. Their production values were a joke compared to the WWF

Sid Vicious v John Douglas: Who is this ring announcer? I don’t recognize him at all. Douglas looks like a pudgy Bob Backlund. Sid with a powerbomb at 3:18. I liked that Sid would finish with the powerbomb, but also hit them with a helicopter powerbomb as a signature move earlier. No idea why he stopped doing that move, it was awesome. DUD

Gordon Solie is in the studio for Wrestling News Network, and the talk of the town is still this mystery attack on Lex Luger. We’re all just going with the Horsemen as the culprits, though we never actually confirmed that 

Arn Anderson and Ric Flair v Dave Diamond and Brad Batton: He missed an opportunity, he could have been ‘Diamond’ Dave Diamond. He wouldn’t have been a jobber, probably. Flair puts Batton away with the figure four at 5:27. Too long for what it was. DUD

Dutch Mantel v Lou Perez: Perez split screens in, excited to get an NWA Television title match against Arn Anderson on World Championship Wrestling. They feel each other out to start, dominated by Perez. Mantel gets control, and works an abdominal stretch, but gets busted holding the ropes. That allows Perez a dropkick, and a corner splash lands, so Dutch rakes the eyes. Bodyslam, but Perez counters to a rollup at 4:57. ¼*

NWA Television Champion Arn Anderson doesn’t want to be blamed for what he’s going to do to Lou Perez. Whatever happens, it’s Sting’s fault, since the Horsemen will continue to punish everyone for his ‘theft’ of the world title

Lex Luger v Bob Holly: The NWA United States title is not on the line for this match. And yes, it’s that Bob Holly. And he’s dressed exactly like Bret Hart. And I mean exactly. The only difference is that he doesn’t have any hearts on his gear. Lex with the torture rack at 2:20. DUD

Jim Cornette is in the studio for the Louisville Slugger, with guest Lex Luger. Cornette mocks Luger for not doing anything to the Horsemen after they supposedly attacked him, instead just watching them from a distance. Lex responds by roughing Jim up. Kind of proving his point about being weak there, Lex

Tommy Rich v Mark Callous: Paul E. Dangerously split screens in, saying that Rich is just a ‘stepping stone’ to Callous getting the US title. Rich holds his own early, but Callous is just too big, and gets control. He works Tommy over, but Rich gets hot again, so Dangerously gets involved for the DQ at 5:18. If you listen carefully, you can hear me yawning. DUD

The Fabulous Freebirds are out, promising to make a comeback in their series against the Southern Boys (the Boys are up 1-0). Michael Hayes is good and fired up here

BUExperience: Solid enough, though there wasn’t any good wrestling at all.
