Original Airdate: May 10, 1994
Your Host is Joey Styles from the studio
Backstage, Paul E Dangerously is laughing about Terry Funk, but goes too far when he starts talking shit about Funk’s daughter, and Terry shows up to slap him around
Dangerously storms into the studio to take out his frustrations on Joey, after begging off and cowering in front of Funk
A look at the Funk/Sabu feud. The narration here makes it sound like a nature video on PBS, which is a choice
Backstage, Funk and Arn Anderson are reading an old WCW Magazine, since apparently this promotion isn’t violent enough already
Matty in the House hypes When Worlds Collide
ECW Tag Team Title Lumberjack Match: Public Enemy v The Bruise Brothers: From Philadelphia Pennsylvania on April 16. Mostly aimless brawling here, with the challengers dominating. Johnny Grunge gets color, and the Brothers work him over, so Rocco Rock grabs a chair, and turns it around. Even the lumberjacks look bored out there, why should I give a shit here? Finally, everyone starts brawling (lumberjacks included), and Rocco scores the pin at 9:53 amid the chaos. Afterwards, the Brothers end up beating up Mr. Hughes, who they’ll be on opposite sides from in an eight-man tag at When Worlds Collide. DUD
Backstage, Jason is still convalescing from Tazmaniac trying to eat his face last week. His suit is still perfect, of course
Tazmaniac hype video
Kevin Sullivan v Don E Allen: From Philadelphia Pennsylvania on April 16. The announcers pretty much immediately describe this as a squash, and tell us that the only reason they’re even airing it is because Woman gets involved, and they wanted to demonstrate how dangerous she can be. Sullivan with the double stomp at 2:00. On the button! DUD
Tommy Cairo and Peaches threaten Woman with… anal rape. No wonder it took this promotion forever to get a TV deal
Paul E visits a social club in a rough neighborhood, looking for Public Enemy (with 911 with him for backup), and he tries recruiting them to deal with Funk for him
BUExperience: As a last minute hype show for When Worlds Collide, this was fine. The actual wrestling was complete trash, though.
