Recently, Dusty Rhodes was defending the NWA World title against Ric Flair, when Tully Blanchard showed up to beat Rhodes with a chair. Backstage, Rhodes fumed and swore revenge, but his leg is all kinds of messed up

Nikita Koloff and Krusher Kruschev v Bill Tabb and Bill Bryant: As cool as the Russians are as a team and as characters, their squashes are always so boring. And long. I bet this goes seven minutes, easy. Koloff with the Sickle at 4:19. Whatever, pay me my money. DUD

Paul Jones and his crew are out to yell about Jimmy Valiant. Still? Are we not done with that yet?

Dick Murdoch v Vernon Deaton: Baby Doll doesn’t show up in Murdoch’s corner. Either she heard the ‘Dirty Dick’ nickname, or she’s busy flirting with yet another guy. Probably Valiant. Murdoch with a hanging vertical suplex at 1:49. DUD

Ric Flair is out, promising to win back the title from Dusty, so he can properly party with his celebrity pals in Los Angeles. He feels naked without it! 

Steve Regal v Rocky King: Regal quickly knocks this one out with a Russian legsweep at 0:54. DUD

The Russians are back out to promise pain for Magnum TA

The Midnight Express v Tom Pittman and Darrin Evans: The NWA World Tag Team title is not on the line here. The rocket launcher finishes up at 2:24. DUD

Tully Blanchard and JJ Dillon are out, laughing off Dusty’s fuming

The Rock 'n' Roll Express v Bob Burroughs and Pablo Crenshaw: I never got why ‘express’ was such a common team name in wrestling. The stereo dropkick finishes at 0:48. Afterwards, Arn and Ole Anderson run in to attack, and do some damage, before the Express fight them off. DUD

Jimmy Garvin is out to challenge Dusty for a title shot. Yeah, you’d better hurry to get that one signed, pal

Buddy Landel v Randy Barber: Cornette makes jokes about Barber’s weight, which is pretty funny, all considering. Landel with the figure four at 0:33. Afterwards, Landel and Bill Dundee stop by the desk to compare themselves to Ric Flair. And Honky Tonk Man, by the looks of it. DUD
