Original Airdate: December 5, 1987 (taped November 17)
From Des Moines, Iowa; Your Hosts are Vince McMahon, Bruno Sammartino, and Jesse Ventura
Building manager Roger Newton is excited to have the WWF in his venue. What was the deal with these during this period? I guess they thought they’d give those suits a chance to be on TV as a form of gladhanding?
Strike Force v The Conquistadors: The WWF Tag Team title is not on the line. Rick Martel starts with Uno, as Jesse speculates that this is over some bad tacos Tito sold them somewhere along the way. Meanwhile, the Hart Foundation split screen in, and they don’t like the sight of Strike Force with the belts. The champs dominate, but the heels double up, so Force responds in kind. In force. Martel puts this away with a Boston crab at 3:24. ¼*
Craig DeGeorge brings Greg Valentine out for a podium interview, along with new manager Jimmy Hart. They don’t understand why people like Brutus Beefcake, but it doesn’t matter, because Greg will drive him out of the WWF soon
Ted DiBiase v Omar Atlas: DiBiase split screen in, again promising to buy the WWF Title. But, before he closes that deal, he wants to show off his latest: buying a spot on the cover of the new issue of the WWF Magazine. DiBiase at 2:07, though still no sign of the Million Dollar Dream. DUD

Bam Bam Bigelow v Dave Wagner: Bigelow with the slingshot splash at 1:21. DUD
Gene Okerlund catches up with Jake Roberts, who is feeling cryptic
Okerlund catches up with Jim Duggan, who has two eyes, so watch out, Harley Race
Danny Davis still thinks Sam Houston is lucky
Sam Houston happily accepts Danny’s challenge for a rematch, based on the advice of his father. I wouldn’t really trust any advice I got from that guy, of all people
Dino Bravo v Sivi Afi: I guess we’re officially at the end of the New Dream Team, as Valentine has Jimmy Hart as a manager now, and here’s Dino with Frenchy Martin all of a sudden. Dino gets the pin at 1:45. DUD
DeGeorge is in the studio for Update, looking into the legalities of DiBiase’s aim to buy the WWF Title. President Jack Tunney weighs in, and basically has no clue if that would be legal. But he’s looking into it
Slammy Awards ad
The British Bulldogs v Barry Horowitz and Steve Lombardi: Top shelf jobbers here. Dynamite Kid pins Horowitz with a side superplex at 3:52. ¼*
Video package on the career of Superstar Billy Graham, now at its end
Butch Reed v Outback Jack: Reed dominates him early, as Don Muraco split screens in, angry that Reed ended Graham’s career. Reed with a flying clothesline at 2:08. DUD
DeGeorge catches up with WWF Intercontinental Champion Honky Tonk Man, and he’s sick of people claiming that Peggy Sue is Sensational Sherri under a wig. I never realized that they actually acknowledged that… I always just took it that they were presenting her as a different character and hoping no one notices
BUExperience: A fun episode this week. Lots of new stuff going on now that we’re past Survivor Series.
