Shane Douglas and Brian Pillman v 2 Cold Scorpio and Ron Simmons: From Philadelphia Pennsylvania on November 19. Shane attacks Ron on the outside during the entrances, and beats him with a chair, kickstarting the actions. Inside, Scorpio dominates Pillman, and dumps him to the outside, so Sensational Sherri grabs a chair to buy Brian some recovery time. Inside, Ron dominates Douglas, but telegraphs a backdrop, and takes a swinging neckbreaker. That looked ugly. Shane with a vertical suplex, followed by a ropechoke, but Ron fights him off long enough to tag. Shane peppers Scorpio with jabs, and he passes to Pillman for a turnbuckle smash. Another, but Scorpio reverses, and dives with a flying twisting bodypress for two. Scorpio uses a drop-toehold into a stepover toehold, then tags back to Ron. Simmons drills him with a spinebuster, and Pillman bails to regroup with Shane on the outside. Inside, Shane tags in, and manages to scam Simmons into some right hands. Shane with a gutwrench suplex, and that’s enough to put the heels in control. They work Simmons over, but Scorpio tags. Shane looks to hit him with a tombstone, but Scorpio nearly reverses, before Douglas topples him for two. Tag to Pillman, but Scorpio chops him into the corner. A reversal sequence ends in Pillman dropkicking him out of the ring, but a dive from the apron misses, and Pillman eats the guardrail. Scorpio whips him into it for good measure, and then lands a flying dropkick for two on the way back in. Tag to Ron, so Brian challenges him to a test-of-strength, which goes badly for him. The heels manage to get control of Ron anyway, and they cut the ring in half. Scorpio gets the tag, but runs into trouble as well, and worked over. They dominate for an extended period, before Simmons gets the tag, and kills Shane with a spinebuster for the pin at 20:34. Four professionals, delivering a professional match. Not shocking, but not especially common in this area of ECW. Afterwards, Douglas blows up at Sherri about the loss, and hits her with a piledriver. ** ¼

BUExperience: Well, there was literally one match. It was good. But then forty minutes of filler.
