Original Airdate: February 7, 1999 (taped January 26)
From Tucson, Arizona; Your Hosts are Kevin Kelly and Shane McMahon
The Corporation are out to hype St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. No real news here, except that Vince McMahon announces that Steve Austin will have to wrestle Mankind in a proper warmup match for them before they face Vince and Rock in their respective matches at the pay per view
Too Much v Golga and Kurrgan: Brian Christopher and Kurrgan start, and Kurrgan uses his size, as Droz suckers Giant Silva into chasing him to the back. Kurrgan with an electric chair, so Scott Taylor goes to the top, but gets launched into his partner. We cut to the back, where Droz is beating Silva down with a chair, and Golga tags in, shrugging off a double team. That draws Skull and 8-Ball out, as Golga hits a splash on both heels. That allows Skull to sneak in and DDT Golga, and Brian covers at 1:57. There were a lot of extracurricular activities at play here for a match that didn’t even crack two minutes. ¼*

Jesse James/Al Snow feud review video
Backstage, Michael Cole wants to talk to Snow about hardcore matches, but Al flips out, and starts trashing the area to prove he’s hardcore enough. Show don’t tell, I get it
Backstage, Val Venis is hooking up with Ken Shamrock’s sister, Ryan
WrestleMania XV ad
WWF Intercontinental Title Match: Ken Shamrock v Godfather: Godfather doesn’t even get a chance to offer the hoes, because Shamrock is so fired up about Val Venis. Ken unloads, but runs into a crescent kick during a criss cross, and Godfather delivers a pair of elbowdrops. Godfather with a corner whip to set up the avalanche, and a bodyslam sets up a pump-splash, but Shamrock gets his knees up. That allows Ken some kicks, and a powerslam is worth two. Shamrock with a belly-to-belly suplex, and he sets up for the anklelock, when Venis comes on the TitanTron… getting a blowjob from Ryan. Shamrock loses his mind, and runs to the back to go after Val, giving Godfather the countout win at 2:42. The match was just background for the angle. ¼*
Backstage, an irate Shamrock kicks the shit out of Venis, and carries Ryan off
#1 Contender’s Match: Jacqueline v Luna Vachon: WWF Women’s Champion Sable is out to do guest commentary on this one. Jacqueline attacks before the bell, and chokes Luna down. Jacqueline puts the boots to her, but gets reversed into the corner, and they collide for a double knockout, as Shane and Sable get into increasingly shootish bickering. Luna with a swinging neckbreaker to set up a pump-splash for two, and a bodyslam sets up a flying splash, but Jacqueline rolls out of the way. Meanwhile, D-lo Brown is out, and he distracts Jacqueline before she can capitalize on the missed splash. That allows Luna to recover, and a DDT gets three at 2:22. DUD
Backstage, Chyna paces
The Slam of the Week is Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart attacking Mark Henry on RAW
WWF Tag Team Title Triple Threat Match: Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett v X-Pac and Triple H v D-lo Brown and Mark Henry: This is elimination rules. Hart and Brown start, and they posture. Tag to Jeff for a double team to put Brown down, but D-lo manages to reverse Jeff into the ropes, and deliver a powerslam. Brown adds a legdrop, and he passes to Mark. Henry uses a cross corner whip, but stupidly sends Jarrett into his own home corner, and thus can’t follow up. Jeff tags X-Pac in, so Mark passes back to D-lo, and they criss cross - won by X-Pac with a spinkick. Another criss cross ends in Brown hitting a sitout spinebuster, so Jarrett pops him with one of the tag belts, and X-Pac covers at 3:14. Owen rushes right into stomp on X-Pac, so HHH saves, and Roseanne Barr the door! DX isolate Owen, and HHH lands a high knee, as Chyna marches down. DX continues to dominate, so the champs both bail, and break the momentum. The dust settles on Jarrett and X-Pac, and a distraction from Owen allows Jeff to pound him down. A criss cross allows X-Pac to fire off a spinkick, and he unloads in the corner to set up the bronco buster. That draws Owen in, but X-Pac clotheslines him. A corner dropkick misses, however, and Hart delivers a neckbreaker to set up a legdrop for two. Hart with a backbreaker to set up the Sharpshooter, but HHH saves with a dropkick. Man, how often did you see HHH bust out dropkicks?! Tag to Hunter, and he runs wild on both champions. HHH sets up a pedigree on Owen, but Chyna comes in with a low blow, and Hart covers at 7:28. Nothing special, but it was nonstop. *
BUExperience: Like Thunder, this is the designated b-show, but unlike Thunder, it feels purposeful, instead of a waste of time.
