Original Airdate: October 4, 1987 (taped September 16)
From Rockford, Illinois; Your Hosts are Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan
The Young Stallions v Dave Wagner and Rick Renslow: Bobby is up in arms here, accusing the Stallions of stealing a Jimmy Hart composition for their entrance theme. The jobbers actually managed to coordinate their gear and facial hair here, so you almost have to respect them. Almost. Jim Powers puts this away with a powerslam at 3:41. DUD
Craig DeGeorge is in the control center with Special Report, giving us a look at the Honky Tonk Man/Randy Savage match coming up this weekend on Saturday Night’s Main Event. Or, yesterday, depending on when your station aired this

Six-Man Tag Team Match: King Kong Bundy, Harley Race, and Hercules v Scott Casey, Brady Boone, and Chris Curtis: Johnny Valiant takes over for Bobby on commentary for this one, still sporting a head covering, as a result of Brutus Beefcake’s hair cuttery. Andre the Giant split screens in here, promising an announcement as big as he is, soon. Listening to Monsoon mock Bundy for being overweight and eating fast food is rich. Bundy with the avalanche at 2:30. DUD
Gene Okerlund catches up with Paul Orndorff, who calls Bundy ‘the fat lady.’ Well, at least it's not a pot-kettle-black situation this time. He’s also good with kissing old ladies, if that’s what the fans want
The British Bulldogs continue to love dogs
Bam Bam Bigelow v Shadow #1: Well, at least it’s not a Shadows tag match. Monsoon suggests that Bigelow wrestle Bundy for a ‘New Jersey title,’ but Bobby brushes it off, noting that “who’d want to be champion of New Jersey?” Bigelow with a slingshot splash at 1:24. Good energy from Bam Bam here. ¼*
Okerlund catches up with the New Dream Team, who are dreaming about winning tag matches and battle royals
Clips of the Piledriver music video
Ted DiBiase v Jerry Allen: DiBiase with a sharpshooter at 4:26. This motherfucker is going to try every finisher in the book before he settles on the Million Dollar Dream, isn’t he? DUD
DeGeorge brings Ron Bass out for a podium interview,
Don Muraco v Barry Horowitz: Don with a tombstone at 2:43, which he dedicates to Monsoon. And Gorilla is really into the tribute. DUD

Six-Man Tag Team Match: Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, and Danny Davis v Jim Duggan, Jacques Rougeau, and Raymond Rougeau: The Foundation get some traction on the Rougeau’s, but Duggan tags in, and knocks everyone around. Tag back to Jacques, but he immediately loses control when the Foundation double team him. Bret hits a backbreaker for two, and they work Jacques over on their side of the ring, but a combo with Davis backfires. Tag to Raymond, and poor Gorilla always has such a hard time telling them apart. And yet, he can call those Shadow matches without blinking an eye. Ray gets Bret in a sleeper, so Davis comes in with the megaphone for the DQ at 2:37. This never got out of first gear. ¼*
Okerlund catches up with Heenan, who corrects Gene about how many men are going to participate in an upcoming battle royal. Gene says eighteen, but Bobby explains that Orndorff won’t make it, after Bundy gets done with him
Randy Savage is ready to take back his WWF Intercontinental title belt
Honky Tonk Man is going to tune Macho up
BUExperience: I enjoyed the festivities this week.
