Original Airdate: January 25, 2016

So, I attended WWE Monday Night RAW last night in Miami (the night after the Royal Rumble), and thought I would do a quickie BUExperience on the show. This won’t be a full review, but just based on some notes I took from the arena, and any additional thoughts from memory. All ratings are fast-and-loose, since I’m not going to rewatch this show

From Miami, Florida; Your Host is me, ‘cause I ain’t talkin' about TV

HITMAN383 Re-Rant for WCW/Mandalay Video 'Best of' Series (Great American Bash, Fall Brawl)

- One more before I get to KOTR ’98.

- I explained the concept of these in Mandalay Rant I, so if you don’t know, you’re just not cool. I’m sorry.

- On today’s Hitlist: The Best of the Great American Bash & The Best of Fall Brawl. (This was originally written in the Spring of 2002)

HITMAN383 Re-Rant for WCW/Mandalay Video 'Best of' Series (Bash at the Beach, Halloween Havoc, Starrcade)

- Back in 1999, WCW started releasing a lot of “Best of INSERT PPV NAME HERE” tapes, little one hour clip job deals, and selling them for like $10.00. I bought all of them (minus Uncensored), and my first tape reviews were on these. They are still up at my Rant Center, and back when I sent those in to the OLD Rantsylvania (pre when it was RS.com, and it was this long geocites-likes address) I thought they were pretty good. Today they don’t quite hold up. (This was originally written in the Spring of 2002)

HITMAN383 Rant for Mandalay Video: The Best of WCW Starrcade

My Rant for "WCW's Best of Starrcade 1983-1990" (Originally written during the Summer of 1999)

HITMAN383 Rant for Mandalay Video: The Best of WCW Halloween Havoc

- Hey, it's Mean Gene ... and he's telling me Halloween Havoc scares fans. Does he mean it sucks? Wanna hear the ULTRA stupid line he uses? "Hello fans ... or should I say Halloween." I can tell this tape will be bad already. He also tells me this tape will haunt me forever. (This was originally written in the Summer of 1999)

HITMAN383 Rant for Mandalay Video: The Best of WCW Fall Brawl

- I want to note the cover of the tape (Like every other "Best of" WCW video, except Starrcade) has nothing to do with the tape. On the front it has K-dog & Hall, and Hogan/Flair from Havoc '94. The back has the 3 "happy" guys in WCW: Raven/DDP/Lodi (See, because Raven, DDP, and Lodi were all gay, per super accurate online message boards at the time) (DDP is the only one on this) and the side has Goldberg who isn't here. (This was originally written in the Summer of 1999)

HITMAN383 Rant for Mandalay Video: The Best of WCW Bash at the Beach

- We start with more Mean Gene telling us how Bash at the Beach has changed wrestling. Does he mean the mini movies? Or Dennis Rodman and Karl Malone wrestling? I guess he means "changed for the worse." Anyway.... (Originally written in during the Summer of 1999)

HITMAN383 Rant for Mandalay Video: The Best of WCW Great American Bash

- We start with Mean Gene telling us Great American Bash has been making WCW more fun. Watch Gene's lips ... they don't match what he's saying ... odd. (Maybe he was speaking Japanese? This was originally written in May 1999)

HITMAN383 Rant for WCW Thunder (October 18, 2000)

- The HITMAN383 Rant for WCW Thunder, 10/18/00! Just so all you guys know, I’m not a big WCW fan, and haven’t watched in a while, so I may not be up to score with the angles and stories. Then again this IS Russo we’re talking about, and angles don’t last for more than one show ANYWAY, so I should be okay. (This was originally written around when it aired, October 2000)
